The universe is perfect

I just realized that Jack White and Jack Black are appearing in Walk Hard together. My excitement is only tempered by the thought that they might disappear upon meeting each other, neutralizing each other’s existence.

My hope, however, is that they have a celebrity death match. (Points to anyone who can find the clip for me to post.)

I think my favorite part is when Kelly begins to talk about how that if there’s going to be a break in the “promotion” for the Christmas promotion, then there’s going to have to be a strong A promotion story and B promotion story. “Did you catch that promotion last night?”

The one thing I didn’t anticipate (and should have) about a writer’s strike that would be unlike any of the other strikes is how witty, persuasive, and downright hilarious they would be while using their writer-ly talents to promote their cause. I hope this isn’t the last of the strike videos, although I understand that these guys have bigger concerns than keeping their passive supporters entertained.

My roommate just swore off television until the end of the strike. Score one for the A-team!
